Film/TV Reel

Cassandra Bodzak’s latest reel shows her range across drama, comedy and genre work. You’ll get to see her as the sweet but savvy love interest, Ms. Hannah, in her ‘Best Supporting Actress’ winning role at the Vegas Film Festival for Bad Substitute as well as multitude of others in just a couple of minutes to give you a taste of what she’s brings on camera.

We kick off with her a dramatic and dark love story, where she plays the leading lady in Paper Swans, which had it’s international premiere at the Lakeview International Film Festival & Filmy Bees Movie Week (Mumbai) and was an official selection at Hollywood Shortsfest (Los Angeles), Great Films Night Series (Los Angeles), and Lake County Film Festival (Illinois).

You’ll also see Cassandra’s comedic side as the kind-hearted, albeit out of touch, Upper West Side philanthropist whose helping her younger cousin come to turns with her burial plans in Being Dead Should Be Easy, which won ‘Best Film’ in the Los Feliz Film Festival and had it’s premiere at the Oscar qualifying Hollywood Shorts Fest as well as been an official selection at Dances With Films NYC, Sedona International Film Festival, Julien Dubuque International Film Festival, Catalina Film Festival, JFilm, Dallas International Film Festival, Milly Valley Film Fest and WorldFest-Houston.

Of course, there’s some personal favorites, like Bad Seed, where she co-stars with her cutie-pie toddler son, Hudson in his first on-screen role as well as Fugheddaboutit where she gets to boss around some mafia men as a sassy Texan diner owner whose nobody’s fool.

Host/Personality Reel

This reel is all Cassandra’s live on camera work as herself — quick, warm, and completely at ease in front of a live camera. From interviews to on-the-fly banter while promoting my self-help books and healthy living tips on morning segments like ABC 7, KTLA, Home and Family etc, to segment hosting with Shape, Eating Well, Recipes.com, Thrive Market and beyond. It captures the qualities that make her a natural fit for hosting and personality-driven work: charisma, sharp timing, and the ability to make anyone she’s talking to feel like the most interesting person in the room.
